.. You were estranged from the national life of Isra'el. You were foreigners to the
covenants embodying God's promise. .. But now, you who were once far off have been
brought near through the shedding of the Messiah's blood. .. He did this in order
to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus
make shalom .. Yes, in union with him, you yourselves are being built together into
a spiritual dwelling-place for God! (Eph 2:12-22)
How to achieve this ...
By God’s grace – but he told me, And He said to me, “My favour (Grace) is sufficient
for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, then, I shall rather
boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Messiah rests on me. (2 Corinthians
12:9 )
- We aim to release “…loosen the tight cords of wrongness, to undo the bands of the
yoke, to exempt the oppressed, and to break off every yoke? (Isaiah 58:6) to create
a society that allows for God’s rule to come back and to walk in the blessings thereof.
- We aim to share our “.. bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the
poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, and cover him, and not hide yourself
from your own flesh? (Isaiah 58:6) to reach the lost and lead them to a life of fulfilment
in Christ.
- We trust that our light” light would break forth like the morning, your healing spring
forth speedily. And your righteousness shall go before you, the esteem of YHWH would
be your rear guard (Isaiah 58:8)
- We aim to “take away the yoke from” our ”midst, the pointing of the finger, and the
speaking of unrighteousness” and “extend your being to the hungry and satisfy the
afflicted being... (Isaiah 58:9-10 )
- We trust that our “… light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness be as noon.
"Then YHWH would guide you continually, and satisfy your being in drought, and strengthen
your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose
waters do not fail. "And those from among you shall build the old waste places. You
shall raise up the foundations of many generations. And you would be called the Repairer
of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. " (Isaiah 58:10-12)
- We aim to keep our ".. foot from the Sabbath, from doing our pleasure on” YHWH’s
‘set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath 'a delight,' the set-apart day of YHWH
'esteemed,' and shall esteem it, not doing our own ways, nor finding our own pleasure,
nor speaking our own words.(Isaiah 58:13)
- Then we trust that we will delight ourselves in YHWH “... And He shall cause” us
‘to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Ya”aqob
our father. For the mouth of YHWH has spoken!" (Isaiah 58:14 CJB)
